1. Love the country and the religion, abide by rules and laws, have firm beliefs, practice the right path, and observe social morality, and practice the Tao with the spirit of "compassion, frugality, and concession".
2. Adhere to fine traditions, abide by the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, and practice morning and evening services.
3. Be able to recite the "Morning and Evening Service Sutra", "Three Officials Sutra", "Big Dipper Sutra", and be familiar with Taoist classics such as "Tao Te Ching", "Nanhua Sutra", and "Taishang Induction Chapter".
4. Dress in accordance with the "Opinions on Regulating the Dress of Taoist Clergy" of the China Taoist Association.
5. Be a vegetarian when participating in collective activities in the Taoist community.
6. Truthfully report the marital status to the local Taoist association, Taoist college or temple management committee.
7. Quanzhen Taoist priests live in the temple alone, be vegetarians, and have full hair and large collars in accordance with traditions. Zhengyi Taoist priests abide by rules and precepts and maintain proper conduct.
8. Do not use religion to engage in illegal activities that endanger national security, damage social public order, and harm the physical and mental health of citizens.
9. Do not participate in behaviors related to "pornography, gambling, and drugs".
10. Do not be addicted to alcohol, do not smoke in public places, and have no other behaviors that damage the image of Taoism.
11. Do not use various means including the Internet to create conflicts, spread rumors and cause trouble, and undermine unity within the religion.
12. Do not ask believers for support.
13. Do not participate in commercial activities other than the self-supporting activities of the temple and do not stand on the platform for commercial activities.
14. Do not buy, sell, transfer, lend, or forge Taoist certificates such as Taoist clergy certificates, pure precept certificates, and register certificates.
15. Do not change Taoist sects or Dharma lineages at will to keep the Taoist vein pure.
